Children’s Defense Fund-Minnesota is proud to announce that Da’Lacie McGrew, Vice President in Operations and Technology at Thomson Reuters, will join our Minnesota Advisory Board. Thomson Reuters helps to create the backbone of legal and tax systems, providing accurate information that supports objective and fair outcomes. The company is committed to community investment, volunteer impact, and sustainable corporate citizenship and has been a long-time supporter of CDF-MN.
“My volunteering is fueled by my passion for youth advocacy, access to justice, diversity & inclusion, and professional coaching and mentoring,” says Da’Lacie McGrew. “I am eager to lean in deeper to learn more about CDF priorities and programs and be part of ensuring the legacy continues as we relentlessly continue to champion our mission to Leave No Child Behind.”
In her current role at Thomson Reuters, Da’Lacie is responsible for Commentary Content Management for US Legal, US Tax, Canadian Legal, Canadian Tax, and UK Legal. Her career experience includes eleven years as an attorney – including six years as a leader in product management; six years in government grant making, policy making, constituent relationship building, and compliance; and two years in corporate giving and community relations. In addition to her dedication to her profession, Da’Lacie is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Advisory Board and CLE Committee Member of the Page Education Foundation; and former Executive Board member of the REEL Hope Project. As a volunteer on the CDF-MN Event Host Committee member for three years, Da’Lacie has been actively engaged to strategize and optimize fundraising opportunities, increase corporate sponsorship relationships, and identify opportunities for growth and increased impact.

In her role on the Children’s Defense Fund-Minnesota Advisory Board, Ms. McGrew will help guide and advance the policy and programmatic priorities of the organization and add her voice to inform on the needs of children and families in Minnesota.
